What a year it’s been. I don’t mean that ironically but a lot has changed since my last post. First things first. A lot of updates on the comics front.
Tales of Happenstance #10 is under way! Some news on this. So Issue 10 is going to be our penultimate issue. I’m excited to be able to wrap up two stories that really mean a lot to me. Above are some character designs from Sly and I think you’re all really going to dig this issue. There’s no special reason for ending the story. It’s just their time and I hope to continue working with Sly in the future. We’re planning something special for the last issue, but 10 is going to be great.
Simone and Joff will be back for more! I’m excited to share some art for that shortly but Patrick and I have begun work on another story with our favorite adventurers.
The Black Woods…well I don’t want to say too much on the Black Woods. But know that it is still in production and I hope to have news on it very soon.
There are other comic projects that are still in the works/near completion that I am excited to share when the time is right. The current global situation has forced many things to be adjusted, especially with conventions. So for some of these I’m waiting for the right moment to share. Please be patient with me and I hope you all are staying safe during these times.
And that sort of leads us to my next announcement.
When I first started this website, it was meant to host all my creative endeavors. Video was always meant to be a part of that and I’ve done my best keep it that way via things I’ve worked on or been a part of. But it was supposed to be more of a factor. So in mid/late 2019 I began preparations on a few video projects! So what happened? Truthfully, there were some delays on my end but I geared up for an early 2020 launch. And then I actually ended up becoming involved in my job’s media department. I’ve been creating and editing videos for their social media and marketing campaigns. And while that has been amazing, it did delay me even more.
So I would now like to welcome you all to the Midnight Summer!

Midnight Summer will be hosting my creative video projects! We launch tomorrow with the premiere of Date Night! A Dating Sim and Visual Novel let’s play! There will be more coming but I’m very excited to get this off the ground.
So what does this mean for the site? I’ve always hated that this site would be dead for months at a time. Midnight Summer will ensure the site has more regular updates and more importantly, more regular content.
